Born in Dayton Ohio, Lenny moved with his parents at a very young age to Montreal Canada. he attended and graduated from Mcgill University in Montreal.

Having graduated college and taught a year of high school, Lenny had the opportunity to move to the Cayman Islands in 1972, becoming a scuba diving instructor, and eventually owning a popular tourist attraction, a thatch roof restaurant called “The Almond Tree.”

Lenny moved back to the United States in 1985 and started working as a financial advisor. Today he lives in Port St.Lucie Florida with his wife Victoria, where he is President of his financial advisory firm Loyd Capital Performance Partners, Inc.

In addition Lenny serves on the advisory boards of “The First Tee of the Treasure Coast” and “The Palm Beach County Golf Association”. He is also a singer/songwriter and has composed the award winning song “The Cost of Our Freedom”.

Born on August 3rd, 1955 at Glen Cove Hospital on Long Island New York. I attended St. Bonefice in Sea Cliff N.Y until Grad 3. I then attended Locust Valley Elementary and Locust Valley H.S. before moving to Fort Lauderdale in 1969. I then Attended Fort Lauderdale H.S. until graduating in 1973. Honors earned at Fort Lauderdale H.S.; Voted Team Captain, Fort Lauderdale Football Team, All County Linebacker, Fort Lauderdale News 1973, All County Linebacker, Miami Herald 1973, All Coaches Conference Team 1973, All State Team 1973.

Upon graduating from High School, enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 17. Attended Radio A school and received TOP Secrete, SPECAT clearances. Assigned to Naval Communications Station Keflavik Iceland (NAVCOMSTA) for one year, then aboard the Guided Missile Destroyer USS Farragut (DLG-6) becoming a Plank-Owner when the USS Farragut was recommission as (DDG-37). On the Farragut I was responsible for all Top Secret Crypto Key Lists, all HF, VHF, UHF, voice, data, and teletype communications. On the USS Farragut, I made several Caribbean deployments, a North Atlantic deployment and one med deployment.

Upon completion of my naval service, I attended Florida State University where I graduated with a Bachelor Science Degree in Communications with a Minor in International Relations in 1981. Honors earned at FSU: Team Captain FSU Lacrosse Club.

After working for a short period of time at TRT Communications in Fort Lauderdale, I married Anne Demopoulos and was hired in 1984 by EF Hutton in their Gault Ocean Mile office in Fort Lauderdale and started in the Broker Training Program. Went into production with EF Hutton on Black Monday! I stayed with EF Hutton through their merger with Shearson, Lehman Bros. In 1989, I accepted the job of starting a brokerage office with Barnett Banks in Stuart Fl. In 1996, I left Barnett Securities and spent a year and a half with Prudential Securities before moving the Makefield Securities. In 2002, I along with my partner, Leonard Loyd formed our own Investment Management Company, Loyd Capital Performance Partners, Inc.

Personal information: Wife, Anne Figari is a kindergarten Teacher at Port Salerno Elementary School. Sons, Jay Figari, age 28 , is working in the aircraft industry. James Figari, age 24, ia a commissioned Naval Officer , U.S. Navy . John Paul Figari, age 23 is a graduate of Florida State University. Joseph Figari, age 16 is a sophomore in high school.

Personal Accomplishments: Instrument Rated Private Pilot with 1,000 hours flying time. Was a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight when I still owned my airplane. Angel Flight is a volunteer organization which would arrange for free flights for those in need of organ transplants, cancer treatments etc.

I am a certified SCUBA Diver since 1971.
