The Cost of Our Freedom Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to honoring the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans by raising awareness and mobilizing support for those in need. Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure that the brave men and women who served our country are never forgotten—and never left behind.
Founded by singer-songwriter Lenny Loyd and his wife Victoria, the foundation was born from the powerful message of Lenny’s original song, “The Cost of Our Freedom.” What began as a musical tribute has grown into a lasting movement—one that channels the emotional impact of art into tangible aid for veterans facing hardship.
We believe that freedom isn’t free—and neither is healing. Many veterans return home carrying invisible wounds, struggling with housing, employment, mental health, and reintegration. Through benefit concerts, community events, and direct fundraising efforts, we work to bridge the gap between gratitude and action.
“Never Forget Them.”

Our Inspiration
